Mumbai

Poppy is my rescue greyhound of six years. On 24 March we rushed to Mumbai Animal Hospital with a foreign object blocking the intestines. The vet recommends orthopedic surgery, and the estimate came to $350. They have stabilized Poppy, but the treatment can't wait beyond July. Poppy is more than a pet - Poppy got me through my hardest year. I have already put $55 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan. Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back. If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to Mumbai Animal Hospital's charity fund for other animals. Where the $350 goes: • Hospitalization (4 nights): $95 • Emergency surgery: $240 • Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $15 Thank you so much. - Rima

Updates from Rima

Quick update: $180 raised so far (51%). we've started the first stage. Receipts coming as soon as I have them.
Good news. Because of your gifts ($90 in total) I made the first payment toward emergency surgery. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.
