Save Poppy: Henok can't afford the emergency vet
Poppy, Henok's senior cat, needs urgent treatment for a foreign object blocking the intestines costing $200.

Poppy is my senior cat of six years. On 21 August we rushed to Addis Ababa Animal Hospital with a foreign object blocking the intestines. The vet recommends a hospital stay and surgery, and the estimate came to $200.
They have stabilized Poppy, but the treatment can't wait beyond November.
Poppy is more than a pet - Poppy is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $40 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
Funds will be paid straight to Addis Ababa Animal Hospital and I'll share the invoice and an update on Poppy's recovery.
Where the $200 goes:

• Medication and follow-up visits: $25
• Hospitalization (3 nights): $55
