Save Oscar: Kathleen can't afford the emergency vet
A rabbit named Oscar needs emergency surgery - a $400 bill the family can't cover.
🇵🇭 Philippines944 views
Oscar is my rabbit of six years. On 9 July we rushed to Quezon City Veterinary Centre with a broken leg after a road accident. The vet recommends emergency surgery, and the estimate came to $400.
They have stabilized Oscar, but the treatment can't wait beyond September.
Oscar is more than a pet - Oscar got me through my hardest year. I have already put $40 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to Quezon City Veterinary Centre's charity fund for other animals.
Where the $400 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $220
• Hospitalization (2 nights): $75
• Medication and follow-up visits: $45
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $60

So sorry you're going through this. Poor Oscar, hope they feel better soon.
Hope it all works out, Kathleen. Give Oscar a hug from me. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Take care.
Praying for you, Kathleen. Give Oscar a hug from me. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too.
We've got a rescue too so I know how much they mean. My neighbor in Kampala donated after I showed her your page. Take care
so sorry you're going through this. Poor Oscar, hope they feel better soon. Wish I lived closer to Embakasi so I could bring a meal. All the best
Hang in there. Hope you get there. It's not much but it's yours. Love from Udaipur.
