Oscar is my rescue greyhound of nine years. On 19 August we rushed to Kathmandu Animal Hospital with a foreign object blocking the intestines. The vet recommends orthopedic surgery, and the estimate came to $350. They have stabilized Oscar, but the treatment can't wait beyond November. Oscar is more than a pet - Oscar walks my kids to the bus stop every morning. I have already put $30 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan. Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back. If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to Kathmandu Animal Hospital's charity fund for other animals. Where the $350 goes: • Medication and follow-up visits: $30 • Emergency surgery: $220 • Hospitalization (2 nights): $100 Thank you for reading my story.
