Luna is my German shepherd of six years. On 23 August we rushed to San Francisco Animal Hospital with severe tick fever. The vet recommends emergency surgery, and the estimate came to $3,150. They have stabilized Luna, but the treatment can't wait beyond December. Luna is more than a pet - Luna walks my kids to the bus stop every morning. I have already put $280 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan. Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back. If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to San Francisco Animal Hospital's charity fund for other animals. Where the $3,150 goes: • Emergency surgery: $1,750 • Hospitalization (2 nights): $650 • Medication and follow-up visits: $350 • Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $400 I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen. - Xue
