Save Hazel: Salvador can't afford the emergency vet
Hazel, Salvador's rescue greyhound, needs urgent treatment for bloat costing $600.

Hazel is my rescue greyhound of three years. On 10 March we rushed to the Mexicali Emergency Vet Clinic with bloat. The vet recommends an operation to remove the blockage, and the estimate came to $600.
They have stabilized Hazel, but the treatment can't wait beyond June.
Hazel is more than a pet - Hazel is the reason I get out of bed. I have already put $105 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to the Mexicali Emergency Vet Clinic's charity fund for other animals.
Where the $600 goes:
• Medication and follow-up visits: $85
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $90
• Emergency surgery: $425

Sure. The biggest one is medication and follow-up visits, $85. The rest is in the list at the bottom of the post and I'll upload receipts as I pay each one. It helps to be asked.
