Archie is my tabby kitten of two years. On 11 August we rushed to Santa Fe Veterinary Centre with a foreign object blocking the intestines. The vet recommends emergency surgery, and the estimate came to $2,100.
They have stabilized Archie, but the treatment can't wait beyond November.
Archie is more than a pet - Archie is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $370 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to Santa Fe Veterinary Centre's charity fund for other animals.
