I make my living with my tuk-tuk. 8 weeks ago the engine head gasket failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $250. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my wife and our newborn. Before the breakdown I worked nine hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next six months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $250 goes:
• engine head gasket replacement (parts): $155
• Labor charges: $25
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $25
• Towing and inspection: $45
Thank you so much.

thanks for sharing this, Sarah. Shared it with a few friends.
Gave what I could, wish it was more. Wish I lived closer to Scranton so I could bring a meal. Take care.
hope this works out for you. I have a 12 year old who wants to send good wishes too. Thinking of Entebbe
Hope this works out for you. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Greetings from Mombasa
