Sarah needs my taxi repaired to get back to work in Accra
Sarah's my taxi is Sarah's only source of income and needs a gearbox replacement costing $150.

I make my living with my taxi. 3 weeks ago the gearbox failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $150. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my two daughters and my mother. Before the breakdown I worked eleven hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next three months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $150 goes:
• Towing and inspection: $10
• gearbox replacement (parts): $80
• Labor charges: $60
Glad we found this place.

Thank you all. We're at 33% now ($50). I'm honestly stunned. I met with the mechanic and confirmed the amounts.
