Samuel was diagnosed with early-stage lung cancer in February. The oncology team at Port Harcourt University Hospital has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in May. He will be away from work for about 4 weeks. Samuel is 48, worked as a bank teller until February, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Port Harcourt University Hospital 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders. Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment. Where the $350 goes: • Scans and lab work: $145 • Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $125 • Transport to Port Harcourt University Hospital: $80 Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot. - Bolaji

  • stay strong, Bolaji. I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Take care
