Rose needs a commercial oven to reopen a neighborhood bakery
Rose has run a neighborhood bakery for twelve years; floodwater destroyed the equipment, and $400 will put it back on its feet.

For twelve years I have run a neighborhood bakery in Mandaue. In August, floodwater took a commercial oven. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Friday, and I employed 3 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 6 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go.
Where the $400 goes:
• Replacing a commercial oven: $240
• Initial stock: flour, butter and sugar: $65
• Shop repairs and licensing: $60
• Working capital for the first month: $35
I hope life is good to you.

Take care, Rose. This could happen to any of us. Take care.
Good luck, Rose. Hope the shop reopens soon. Put this on a community board in Allentown this morning. All the best
