Rocky's a ruptured cruciate ligament: help with the vet bill

Rocky is my three-legged dog of eleven years. On 31 August we rushed to the Maringá Emergency Vet Clinic with a ruptured cruciate ligament. The vet recommends orthopedic surgery, and the estimate came to $350. They have stabilized Rocky, but the treatment can't wait beyond November. Rocky is more than a pet - Rocky is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $55 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan. Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back. If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to the Maringá Emergency Vet Clinic's charity fund for other animals.
