Medan
Rina is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying a master's in public health at Medan Community College, and is two terms away from graduating. She has worked as a night-shift cleaner to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $600. The registrar has said Rina can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Rina has a 3.8 average, and an academic advisor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Rina would lose her place and scholarship eligibility. Rina isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student. The payment will go directly to the Medan Community College bursar's office. I'll post the receipt. Where the $600 goes: • Outstanding tuition balance: $300 • Final term tuition: $240 • Exam and lab fees: $25 • Textbooks and materials: $35 Thank you so much.

  • sending love, Kurniawan. Looking forward to the next update. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. God bless.

    • Keep going, Kurniawan. As a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn. My neighbor in Quezon City donated after I showed her your page

      • Sending strength. Hope this works out for you. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Take care.

        • Sending love, Kurniawan. This could happen to any of us!
