Ricardo's final semester of a degree in social work in Guadalajara

Ricardo is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying a degree in social work at Guadalajara State College, and is one semester away from graduating. He has worked as a delivery rider to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $1,250. The registrar has said Ricardo can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Ricardo has a top-ten-percent average, and a faculty supervisor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Ricardo would lose his place and scholarship eligibility. Ricardo isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student. The payment will go directly to the Guadalajara State College bursar's office.
