Regensburg storm relief - the families of Hillcrest Lane
After the storm, families in the families of Hillcrest Lane need clean water, roofing materials and bedding.
🇩🇪 Bavaria, Germany808 views
The storm hit the families of Hillcrest Lane on 6 March. My home was one of 81 damaged, and 7 families are still in temporary shelter at a mosque and church hall.
The first few days we shared what little we had. Now the cleanup has started, but we've no money for materials and winter or the rainy season is coming.
Schools in the area have been closed, and the clinic lost its cold storage for vaccines. We're a small community of working families who have never asked for help before.
We have formed a volunteer committee, and I'm the treasurer, so I'll post receipts for everything we buy.
Funds go to building materials, water purification supplies, bedding, and food for families still in shelters.
Where the $2,300 goes:
• Clean water and purification supplies: $720
• Food parcels for displaced families: $640
• Bedding, blankets and mattresses: $940
Thank you for reading my story.

Good luck, Noah. Gave what I could, wish it was more.
Great idea, hope you get there. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend. Greetings from Manila
Hope this works out for you. I went through something like this 7 years ago and strangers helped me out. Thinking of Regensburg.
Sending love, Noah. Hope the build day goes well, wish I lived closer.
