Rebuilding after the landslide: Marketplace village needs your help
Neighbors in Marketplace village are rebuilding after the landslide; every contribution goes to materials and supplies.

The landslide hit Marketplace village on 5 April. My home was one of 44 damaged, and 11 families are still in temporary shelter at the community hall.
The first few days we shared what little we had. Now the cleanup has started, but we've no money for materials and winter or the rainy season is coming.
Schools in the area have been closed, and the clinic lost its cold storage for vaccines. We're a small community of working families who have never asked for help before.
We have formed a volunteer committee, and I'm the treasurer, so I'll post receipts for everything we buy.
We buy supplies locally and in bulk, so the money goes further. Receipts and photos will be posted in updates.
Where the $800 goes:
• Clean water and purification supplies: $310
• Bedding, blankets and mattresses: $240
• Food parcels for displaced families: $250
With deep gratitude,
Tatiane

Rooting for you. I hope things turn around soon. After 21 years in logistics I know how hard it's to ask for anything.
Take care, Tatiane. Gave what I could, wish it was more. I'm in retail myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. All the best.
Hang in there, Tatiane. Hope the build day goes well, wish I lived closer. Love from Los Angeles.
Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Put this on a community board in Bangkok this morning. Blessings
stay strong, Tatiane. More neighborhoods should do this. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. Love from Üsküdar.
