Rakesh's final semester of a degree in social work in Dwarka
Rakesh has worked and saved for five years to study a degree in social work; a $455 gap now stands between him and graduation.

I'm the first person in my family to go to university. I'm studying a degree in social work at Dwarka University, and I'm one semester away from graduating. I have worked as a night-shift cleaner to pay my way, but this term my hours were cut and I have an unpaid balance of $455.
The registrar has told me I can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. I have a top-ten-percent average, and my professor has written in support of my application for a payment plan.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support my younger siblings. Without enrolling this term I'd lose my place and my scholarship eligibility.
I'm not asking for a handout - I want to finish what I started and then help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the Dwarka University bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
Where the $455 goes:
• Outstanding tuition balance: $200
• Final term tuition: $230
• Exam and lab fees: $20
• Textbooks and materials: $5
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Rakesh
Everything on the list is an amount I've been quoted or invoiced. outstanding tuition balance comes first ($200) and I'll update the page as each thing gets paid. Let me know if you want more detail.
Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Put this on a community board in Limoges this morning. All the best.
