The typhoon hit the families of Millbrook Lane on 6 February. My home was one of 32 damaged, and 8 families are still in temporary shelter at the community hall.
The first few days we shared what little we had. Now the cleanup has started, but we've no money for materials and winter or the rainy season is coming.
Schools in the area have been closed, and the clinic lost its cold storage for vaccines. We're a small community of working families who have never asked for help before.
We have formed a volunteer committee, and I'm the treasurer, so I'll post receipts for everything we buy.
We buy supplies locally and in bulk, so the money goes further. Receipts and photos will be posted in updates.
Where the $1,350 goes:
• Roofing sheets and timber: $390
• Clean water and purification supplies: $75
• Bedding, blankets and mattresses: $185
• Food parcels for displaced families: $330
• Tools and labor for repairs: $370
Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure.

So sorry you're going through this. Looking forward to the next update. After 25 years in retail I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Blessings.
You're not alone, Wilfredo. Looking forward to the next update
Stay strong, Wilfredo. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. All the best
Thinking of you and your family, Wilfredo. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Blessings.
