Prakash is a single parent of twin daughters - help us after a divorce
Prakash and twin daughters need a bridge to stability after a divorce.
🇮🇳 India568 views
Last June I went through a divorce, and I'm now raising twin daughters on my own. I work as a care worker, but my income doesn't cover rent, childcare and groceries.
I'm retraining as a medical coder in the evenings, which will triple my income by October, but I need to bridge the gap until then.
Some weeks I skip meals so my children can eat. I have never asked anyone for help like this before, and I'm doing it for them.
Once I finish my course, I'll pay it forward.
Every cent is accounted for. I'll share a simple monthly breakdown.
Where the $400 goes:
• Groceries and school meals: $95
• Rent top-up: $260
• Course fees and exam costs: $45
Glad we found this place.

praying for you, Prakash. A secure home matters so much. Hope you're settled soon
stay strong. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. God bless.
Your post was clear and honest. Put this on a community board in Badagry this morning.
You're not alone, Prakash. It takes guts to ask. Well done. After 23 years in hospitality I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Thinking of Bhopal!
