Pioneer Primary School needs a youth football pitch - Valentina's neighborhood project
A community-led a youth football pitch at Pioneer Primary School that will serve 278 neighbors.

For five years the neighborhood has asked for a youth football pitch. This year a group of 10 volunteers, including two retired carpenters, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Pioneer Primary School, but no funding.
We have received donated tools, and the remaining cost is $2,000.
It will serve about 278 people, including young people who have nowhere safe to play. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $2,000 goes:
• Materials: $1,450
• Permits and inspections: $95
• Safety equipment and signage: $95
• Tools hire and delivery: $360
