I make my living with my motorbike. 6 weeks ago the fuel pump failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $250. Without the vehicle I earn nothing. I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask. I support my family of five. Before the breakdown I worked eleven hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next three months if I can just get the vehicle working. I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here. I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update. Where the $250 goes: β€’ fuel pump replacement (parts): $180 β€’ Labor charges: $35 β€’ Road tax and insurance renewal: $15 β€’ Towing and inspection: $20 With deep gratitude, Parvin

Updates from Parvin

  1. Quick update: $143 raised so far (57%). I made the first payment toward labor charges. Receipts coming as soon as I have them.

  2. 49% there. I made the first payment toward road tax and insurance renewal. Thank you.

  3. Good news. Because of your gifts ($10 in total) I met with the mechanic and confirmed the amounts. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely. - Parvin
