Padam's final semester of an accounting degree in Pokhara
Padam has worked and saved for five years to study an accounting degree; a $400 gap now stands between him and graduation.

I'm the first person in my family to go to university. I'm studying an accounting degree at Pokhara Polytechnic, and I'm one term away from graduating. I have worked as a delivery rider to pay my way, but this term my hours were cut and I have an unpaid balance of $400.
The registrar has told me I can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. I have a 3.6 average, and my professor has written in support of my application for a payment plan.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support my younger siblings. Without enrolling this term I'd lose my place and my scholarship eligibility.
I'm not asking for a handout - I want to finish what I started and then help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the Pokhara Polytechnic bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
Where the $400 goes:
• Textbooks and materials: $55
• Exam and lab fees: $30
• Outstanding tuition balance: $315
Thanks for being kind about this.
