One semester away: help Yolanda graduate from Miami Community College

Yolanda is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying a diploma in hospitality management at Miami Community College, and is one semester away from graduating. She has worked as a tutor to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $3,600. The registrar has said Yolanda can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Yolanda has a top-ten-percent average, and an academic advisor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Yolanda would lose her place and scholarship eligibility. Yolanda isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student. Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees.
