One semester away: help Wafula graduate from Kisumu Community College

Wafula is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying a nursing degree at Kisumu Community College, and is one term away from graduating. He has worked as a barista to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $700. The registrar has said Wafula can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Wafula has a top-ten-percent average, and a department head has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Wafula would lose his place and scholarship eligibility. Wafula isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student. The payment will go directly to the Kisumu Community College bursar's office. I'll post the receipt. Where the $700 goes: • Outstanding tuition balance: $270 • Textbooks and materials: $20 • Final term tuition: $410 I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support. - Wambui
