Nashik
Nazrul is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying an electrical engineering diploma at the Nashik Institute of Technology, and is one semester away from graduating. He has worked as a shop assistant to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $650. The registrar has said Nazrul can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Nazrul has a 3.6 average, and a faculty supervisor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Nazrul would lose his place and scholarship eligibility. Nazrul isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student. The payment will go directly to the the Nashik Institute of Technology bursar's office. I'll post the receipt. Where the $650 goes: • Outstanding tuition balance: $330 • Final term tuition: $250 • Exam and lab fees: $55 • Textbooks and materials: $15 I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support. - Tithi
