Musyoka is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying a nursing degree at Nairobi State College, and is two terms away from graduating. He has worked as a warehouse packer to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $750. The registrar has said Musyoka can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Musyoka has a 3.6 average, and an academic advisor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Musyoka would lose his place and scholarship eligibility. Musyoka isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student. The payment will go directly to the Nairobi State College bursar's office. I'll post the receipt. Where the $750 goes: • Outstanding tuition balance: $220 • Final term tuition: $430 • Exam and lab fees: $30 • Textbooks and materials: $70 Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.
