One semester away: help Maurício graduate from the Pelotas Institute of Technology
A first-generation student, Maurício needs help covering tuition for the final stretch of a law degree.

Maurício is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying a law degree at the Pelotas Institute of Technology, and is one term away from graduating. He has worked as a shop assistant to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $850.
The registrar has said Maurício can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Maurício has a top-ten-percent average, and a department head has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Maurício would lose his place and scholarship eligibility.
Maurício isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the the Pelotas Institute of Technology bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
Where the $850 goes:
• Outstanding tuition balance: $340
• Final term tuition: $370
• Exam and lab fees: $70
• Textbooks and materials: $70
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

Hang in there. Shared it with a few friends. Thinking of Pelotas
Thinking of you, Letícia. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. My husband and I read this together.
can I help in a way that isn't money? I'm near Pelotas.
Good luck with the exams, you've got this. I went through something like this 6 years ago and strangers helped me out
Good luck. Looking forward to the next update. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money.
Sending love, Letícia. Study hard! Wish I lived closer to Sheffield so I could bring a meal. Blessings
