I'm the first person in my family to go to university. I'm studying a diploma in hospitality management at Savar Community College, and I'm two terms away from graduating. I have worked as a library assistant to pay my way, but this term my hours were cut and I have an unpaid balance of $800.
The registrar has told me I can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. I have a 3.8 average, and my professor has written in support of my application for a payment plan.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support my younger siblings. Without enrolling this term I'd lose my place and my scholarship eligibility.
I'm not asking for a handout - I want to finish what I started and then help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the Savar Community College bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
Where the $800 goes:
• Outstanding tuition balance: $350
• Final term tuition: $410
• Exam and lab fees: $20
• Textbooks and materials: $20
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

Rooting for you, Mahin. Study hard! Blessings.
keep going, Mahin. Study hard! Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. All the best.
Stay strong, Mahin. Hope you get there. We're a small family in Mwanza but we're thinking of you. Thinking of Savar
