One semester away: help Grace graduate from the Ikeja Institute of Technology
Grace has worked and saved for five years to study an electrical engineering diploma; a $700 gap now stands between her and graduation.

I'm the first person in my family to go to university. I'm studying an electrical engineering diploma at the Ikeja Institute of Technology, and I'm one semester away from graduating. I have worked as a night-shift cleaner to pay my way, but this term my hours were cut and I have an unpaid balance of $700.
The registrar has told me I can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. I have a 3.6 average, and my faculty supervisor has written in support of my application for a payment plan.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support my younger siblings. Without enrolling this term I'd lose my place and my scholarship eligibility.
I'm not asking for a handout - I want to finish what I started and then help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the the Ikeja Institute of Technology bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
Where the $700 goes:
• Outstanding tuition balance: $310
• Final term tuition: $290
• Exam and lab fees: $35
• Textbooks and materials: $65
