One semester away: help Gebre graduate from Adama University
Gebre is two terms away from finishing an agriculture degree but is blocked from enrolling by an unpaid balance of $550.

I'm the first person in my family to go to university. I'm studying an agriculture degree at Adama University, and I'm two terms away from graduating. I have worked as a night-shift cleaner to pay my way, but this term my hours were cut and I have an unpaid balance of $550.
The registrar has told me I can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. I have a 3.8 average, and my professor has written in support of my application for a payment plan.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support my younger siblings. Without enrolling this term I'd lose my place and my scholarship eligibility.
I'm not asking for a handout - I want to finish what I started and then help the next student.
Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees.
Where the $550 goes:
• Outstanding tuition balance: $250
• Final term tuition: $260
• Exam and lab fees: $35
• Textbooks and materials: $5
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

Wishing you peace. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Thinking of Adama.
Keep going, Gebre. I hope things turn around soon. Sent it to 39 people at work. Blessings.
So sorry you're going through this, Gebre. This could happen to any of us
