One semester away: help Duha graduate from Mecca Community College
A first-generation student, Duha needs help covering tuition for the final stretch of a master's in public health.

I'm the first person in my family to go to university. I'm studying a master's in public health at Mecca Community College, and I'm two terms away from graduating. I have worked as a night-shift cleaner to pay my way, but this term my hours were cut and I have an unpaid balance of $1,500.
The registrar has told me I can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. I have a 3.6 average, and my professor has written in support of my application for a payment plan.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support my younger siblings. Without enrolling this term I'd lose my place and my scholarship eligibility.
I'm not asking for a handout - I want to finish what I started and then help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the Mecca Community College bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
Where the $1,500 goes:
• Exam and lab fees: $230
• Final term tuition: $1,050
• Textbooks and materials: $220
