One semester away: help Denise graduate from the Los Angeles Institute of Technology
Denise has worked and saved for three years to study a nursing degree; a $5,900 gap now stands between her and graduation.

I'm the first person in my family to go to university. I'm studying a nursing degree at the Los Angeles Institute of Technology, and I'm two terms away from graduating. I have worked as a shop assistant to pay my way, but this term my hours were cut and I have an unpaid balance of $5,900.
The registrar has told me I can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. I have a 3.8 average, and my academic advisor has written in support of my application for a payment plan.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support my younger siblings. Without enrolling this term I'd lose my place and my scholarship eligibility.
I'm not asking for a handout - I want to finish what I started and then help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the the Los Angeles Institute of Technology bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
Where the $5,900 goes:
• Outstanding tuition balance: $2,750
• Final term tuition: $2,550
• Exam and lab fees: $240
• Textbooks and materials: $360

Best of luck, Denise. Good luck with the exams, you've got this. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Love from Mumbai
