One semester away: help Aniket graduate from Mumbai State College
A first-generation student, Aniket needs help covering tuition for the final stretch of a teaching qualification.
🇮🇳 Mumbai, Maharashtra, India1,294 views
Aniket is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying a teaching qualification at Mumbai State College, and is two terms away from graduating. He has worked as a barista to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $800.
The registrar has said Aniket can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Aniket has a top-ten-percent average, and a department head has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Aniket would lose his place and scholarship eligibility.
Aniket isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student.
Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees.
Where the $800 goes:
• Textbooks and materials: $25
• Final term tuition: $530
• Outstanding tuition balance: $245
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.
