Omkar is facing stage 2 breast cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Omkar was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer in August. The oncology team at the Surat Oncology Institute has planned 6 rounds of treatment, starting in December. He will be away from work for about 12 weeks.
Omkar is 32, worked as a hairdresser until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Surat Oncology Institute 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
