Novi is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying a pharmacy diploma at Depok State College, and is one semester away from graduating. She has worked as a library assistant to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $550.
The registrar has said Novi can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Novi has a 3.9 average, and a professor has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Novi would lose her place and scholarship eligibility.
Novi isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student.
Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees.
Where the $550 goes:
• Outstanding tuition balance: $280
• Final term tuition: $210
• Exam and lab fees: $45
• Textbooks and materials: $15

I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. After 6 years in farming I know how hard it's to ask for anything.
So sorry you're going through this, Hendra. This could happen to any of us. Love from Likoni.

Thinking of you and your family, Hendra. Shared this with my family. I went through something like this 11 years ago and strangers helped me out. Blessings.
