Nathan's stomach cancer treatment fund
Nathan is facing stomach cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

In July I was diagnosed with stomach cancer. My oncology team at Montpellier Cancer Centre has planned 4 rounds of treatment, and the first starts in October. I was told to expect about 10 weeks away from work.
I never imagined I'd be writing something like this. I'm 25, I worked as a shop owner until July, and I have been the main earner for my household.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, transport to Montpellier Cancer Centre 3 times a week, and the income I have lost add up quickly.
My family is doing everything they can, but we've already sold what we could and are borrowing for groceries.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $7,850 goes:
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $5,500
• Scans and lab work: $650
• Transport to Montpellier Cancer Centre: $680
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $350
• Household costs while unable to work: $670
Thanks for being kind about this.

Thinking of you, Nathan. Looking forward to the next update. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend.
so sorry you're going through this, Nathan. This could happen to any of us. Love from Minneapolis.
rooting for you. Look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Take care.
Sending good thoughts, Nathan. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. My neighbor in San Antonio donated after I showed her your page.
