I make my living with my tuk-tuk. 12 weeks ago the rear axle failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $350. Without the vehicle I earn nothing. I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask. I support my wife and our newborn. Before the breakdown I worked eleven hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next six months if I can just get the vehicle working. I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here. I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update. Where the $350 goes: • Road tax and insurance renewal: $50 • rear axle replacement (parts): $270 • Towing and inspection: $30 I hope life is good to you.

    • Sending strength. Hope the shop reopens soon. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Blessings.

      • Sending good thoughts. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Sent it to 18 people at work. Love from Newcastle upon Tyne.
