I make my living with my tuk-tuk. 8 weeks ago the engine head gasket failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $400. Without the vehicle I earn nothing. I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask. I support my 3 children. Before the breakdown I worked twelve hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next three months if I can just get the vehicle working. I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here. All money will go toward the parts and labor on the estimate, with a small amount for road tax and insurance renewal. Where the $400 goes: • engine head gasket replacement (parts): $200 • Labor charges: $75 • Road tax and insurance renewal: $75 • Towing and inspection: $50 Thanks for reading all this. - Marcos

Hope things get better soon, Marcos. I'd happily buy from you once you're back up. Sent it to 5 people at work. Love from Jakarta Selatan.

it takes guts to ask. Well done. After 23 years in nursing I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Greetings from São Paulo.

Thanks for sharing this, Marcos. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Greetings from Los Angeles
