Maringá
I make my living with my tuk-tuk. 10 weeks ago the radiator and cooling system failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $550. Without the vehicle I earn nothing. I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask. I support my wife and our newborn. Before the breakdown I worked eleven hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next three months if I can just get the vehicle working. I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here. I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update. Where the $550 goes: • radiator and cooling system replacement (parts): $340 • Labor charges: $100 • Road tax and insurance renewal: $85 • Towing and inspection: $25 Every share and every dollar helps.

Updates from Márcio

  1. Update from Maringá: we've booked the dates and paid the deposit. We're at 24% of the goal. Thank you for believing in us.

  2. Thank you all. We're at 7% now ($40). I'm honestly stunned. I made the first payment toward road tax and insurance renewal.
