I make my living with my tuk-tuk. 12 weeks ago the radiator and cooling system failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $1,000. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my family of five. Before the breakdown I worked twelve hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next four months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $1,000 goes:
• radiator and cooling system replacement (parts): $770
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $110
• Labor charges: $120

Updates from Majid
Thank you all. We're at 23% now ($228). I'm honestly stunned. I met with the mechanic and confirmed the amounts.
Update from Riyadh: the plan for radiator and cooling system replacement is now scheduled. We're at 17% of the goal. Thank you for believing in us.
