My tuk-tuk: Luke's only way to earn a living
Without my tuk-tuk Luke can't work; a $1,300 repair would put him back on the road.

I make my living with my tuk-tuk. 7 weeks ago the suspension failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $1,300. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my family of five. Before the breakdown I worked eleven hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next six months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $1,300 goes:
• suspension replacement (parts): $670
• Labor charges: $340
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $220
• Towing and inspection: $70
If you're reading this, thank you.

sending strength, Luke. Hope this works out for you. Wish I lived closer to Yonkers so I could bring a meal. God bless!
So sorry you're going through this. Looking forward to the next update. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust.
Rooting for you, Luke. Hope the shop reopens soon. After 26 years in logistics I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Blessings
