My tuk-tuk: Luca's only way to earn a living

Without my tuk-tuk Luca cannot work; a $1,700 repair would put him back on the road.

I make my living with my tuk-tuk. 7 weeks ago the transmission failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $1,700. Without the vehicle I earn nothing. I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask. I support my 2 children. Before the breakdown I worked ten hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next four months if I can just get the vehicle working. I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here. I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update. Where the $1,700 goes: • Towing and inspection: $145 • Road tax and insurance renewal: $210 • transmission replacement (parts): $1,345 Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself. - Luca
