My tuk-tuk: Kamau's only way to earn a living
Kamau drives for a living in Dar es Salaam, and a broken radiator and cooling system has stopped all income for 10 weeks.

I make my living with my tuk-tuk. 10 weeks ago the radiator and cooling system failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $160. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my younger brothers and sisters. Before the breakdown I worked eleven hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next three months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $160 goes:
• radiator and cooling system replacement (parts): $90
• Labor charges: $40
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $25
• Towing and inspection: $5

Rooting for you, Kamau. Hope this works out for you. We're a small family in Coatzacoalcos but we're thinking of you.
Sending good thoughts. Shared it with a few friends. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. Take care
Take care, Kamau. Small businesses are the heart of Dar es Salaam. Hope you're open again soon. We're a small family in Allentown but we're thinking of you. Blessings.
Hope you make a strong comeback. I went through something like this 6 years ago and strangers helped me out.
Best of luck, Kamau. Gave what I could, wish it was more
