My tuk-tuk: Hiwot's only way to earn a living
Hiwot's my tuk-tuk is Hiwot's only source of income and needs a fuel pump replacement costing $100.

I make my living with my tuk-tuk. 12 weeks ago the fuel pump failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $100. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my 1 children. Before the breakdown I worked ten hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next six months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
All money will go toward the parts and labor on the estimate, with a small amount for road tax and insurance renewal.
Where the $100 goes:
• Labor charges: $40
• Towing and inspection: $20
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $40
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

shared this with my family. My brother had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Greetings from Thiruvananthapuram.
You're not alone. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. My neighbor had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Take care
Sending good thoughts, Hiwot. Hope you get there. Thinking of Jimma.
