My taxi: Yui's only way to earn a living
Yui's my taxi is Yui's only source of income and needs a gearbox replacement costing $450.

I make my living with my taxi. 12 weeks ago the gearbox failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $450. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my 3 children. Before the breakdown I worked twelve hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next six months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
All money will go toward the parts and labor on the estimate, with a small amount for road tax and insurance renewal.
Where the $450 goes:
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $180
• Towing and inspection: $60
• Labor charges: $210
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

wishing you the best. I hope things turn around soon. Don't be hard on yourself for asking.
Sending love. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. I hope June is when things finally get easier.
Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. I went through something like this 3 years ago and strangers helped me out.
Keep going, Yui. Hope this works out for you. Take care!
