My taxi: Victoria's only way to earn a living
Victoria's my taxi is Victoria's only source of income and needs a transmission replacement costing $2,000.

I make my living with my taxi. 7 weeks ago the transmission failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $2,000. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my 4 children. Before the breakdown I worked nine hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next four months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $2,000 goes:
• transmission replacement (parts): $1,250
• Labor charges: $400
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $250
• Towing and inspection: $100
