Without my taxi Naoki can't work; a $1,250 repair would put him back on the road.

I make my living with my taxi. 3 weeks ago the radiator and cooling system failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $1,250. Without the vehicle I earn nothing. I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask. I support my wife and our newborn. Before the breakdown I worked nine hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next three months if I can just get the vehicle working. I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here. All money will go toward the parts and labor on the estimate, with a small amount for road tax and insurance renewal. Where the $1,250 goes: • Towing and inspection: $45 • Labor charges: $300 • radiator and cooling system replacement (parts): $905 If you're reading this, thank you. - Naoki

  • Hang in there, Naoki. Small businesses are the heart of Nagoya. Hope you're open again soon.

Wishing you peace. Shared this with my family. I went through something like this 6 years ago and strangers helped me out. Love from Pune!

      • wishing you peace. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. After 27 years in logistics I know how hard it is to ask for anything.

        • Keep going. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. My neighbor had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Love from Manchester.

          • Keep going, Naoki. Gave what I could, wish it was more. All the best.
