My taxi: Huda's only way to earn a living
Huda's my taxi is Huda's only source of income and needs a gearbox replacement costing $250.

I make my living with my taxi. 12 weeks ago the gearbox failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $250. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my 2 children. Before the breakdown I worked ten hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next three months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $250 goes:
• Labor charges: $20
• gearbox replacement (parts): $175
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $55
If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.

good luck, Huda. This could happen to any of us. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it.
