My taxi: Beatriz's only way to earn a living
Beatriz's my taxi is Beatriz's only source of income and needs a transmission replacement costing $1,250.

I make my living with my taxi. 7 weeks ago the transmission failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $1,250. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my family of five. Before the breakdown I worked nine hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next three months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
All money will go toward the parts and labor on the estimate, with a small amount for road tax and insurance renewal.
Where the $1,250 goes:
• transmission replacement (parts): $850
• Labor charges: $200
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $145
• Towing and inspection: $55
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.
