My school-run minibus: Susana's only way to earn a living
Susana drives for a living in Guadalajara, and a broken fuel pump has stopped all income for 12 weeks.

I make my living with my school-run minibus. 12 weeks ago the fuel pump failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $250. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my younger brothers and sisters. Before the breakdown I worked twelve hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next four months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $250 goes:
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $55
• Towing and inspection: $45
• fuel pump replacement (parts): $150
Thank you for reading my story.

Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Take care!
